In a time when folks have mostly stopped hanging out on the front porch in order to find cooler air or even friendly faces, I invite the world back out to the neighborhood -- one post- or hand- delivered greeting card at a time -- where we can make salutations common again, and where all love and all relationships are welcomed, celebrated, and commemorated.
Anna at a wedding in Utah, summer of 2012
"One day I want to be old on a porch with you. I don't mind if others are there with us -- in fact, it might be better to be surrounded by loves."
That's (more or less) what I said to my husband the day that I fully understood the real breadth of love. And that is the gift and sentiment I hope to share with others with the words and images of Porch Greetings.
Along with selling my art, it is my hope that Porch Greetings can become a platform for sharing ideas about the variety of messages needed to honor and acknowledge all of us, in times of triumph and struggle, and sometimes just because.

Please feel free to send my images around the world electronically. I am happy to make, sell, and ship cards to you, but I would also simply prefer the images to travel and reach as many people as possible, and if that means posting them around the internet on the cheap, I'm happy for it.
